Leah Raad

Vice President of Leasing, Operations and Asset Management

Leah Raad serves as the Vice President of Leasing, Operations and Asset Management, for Maslow’s Campus Communities. Leah is an experienced student housing professional with over 20+ years in the industry. She began her career in student housing working on-site in operations and leasing at a student community serving students at her alma mater, Middle Tennessee State University.

After American Campus Communities purchased her property in 2006, Leah began working with Jennifer Beese and Bill Bayless gaining valuable operational, leasing, and marketing experience and expertise as she climbed the ranks holding positions of General Manager, Regional Manager, and Vice President of Leasing and Marketing. In this capacity, her portfolio consistently achieved occupancy rates above 97%, same store growth in rental rates, rental revenue and NOI, and high customer satisfaction scores.

After Blackstone purchased ACC in 2022, Leah’s talents and contributions continued to be recognized and her career continued to advance, when she was transitioned into Asset Management. In her new role, Leah was responsible for overseeing the company’s capital expenditure budget. Leah continued to excel, leading the implementation of the Banner Capital Management platform, which replaced outdated Excel-based budgeting processes, and streamlining reporting for the Capex, Renovations and Development teams. This transformation was key to driving more efficient and accurate financial management across the organization. A key part of Leah’s career has been her involvement in implementing major systems such as RoomSync, Salesforce, and Banner; as well as streamlining leasing and operations to improve overall business efficiency. She also managed joint venture relationships for P3 projects at Arizona State University and the University of Texas at Austin.

In 2024, Leah was honored by ACC being named Employee of the Year, a testament to her leadership, dedication, and positive impact on the company.

Leah holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. Outside of work, Leah resides in Austin with her husband, Anthony, and their two children, Austyn and Landon. A proud cheer and baseball mom, she is deeply involved in their children’s activities and community.
