Ryan Ellis

Investments Analyst

Ryan Ellis is an Investments Analyst at Maslow’s Campus Communities, where he supports the firm’s development and investment initiatives through market analysis, project-level underwriting, and financial modeling. He works in conjunction with Maslow’s Development, Capital Markets, and Investment/Asset Management teams to evaluate opportunities across multiple asset types, with a particular focus on student housing and multifamily development.

Prior to joining Maslow’s, Ryan gained experience across a range of real estate investment, development, and private equity platforms. Most recently, he worked as a Spring Investments Analyst at Stonelake Capital Partners, where he supported acquisition and disposition underwriting and assisted with asset management initiatives for Stonelake VI and Stonelake VII, the firm’s Sunbelt-focused opportunistic real estate funds representing over $1.3 billion of deployable capital.

In college, Ryan spent time with The Blackburn Group, where he supported multifamily research, development analysis, and market intelligence initiatives. In this capacity, he played a key role in developing and maintaining a detailed internal mapping platform that integrated property-level and sub-market–specific data, including competitive supply, demand drivers, zoning/municipal code considerations, and pipeline risk. These tools enhanced transparency during the diligence process and helped standardize how market intelligence was communicated to their debt and equity partners. Ryan also held development, investment, and land-brokerage internship roles with prominent Texas-based firms including, Endeavor Real Estate Group, Riverside Resources and Dosch Marshall Real Estate.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Mississippi, where he was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (Austin) and has completed advanced coursework in real estate financial modeling.

He currently resides in Austin, Texas with his yellow lab, Bo.
